These are texture packs for the Console Edition of Minecraft, which encompasses the Xbox 360 Edition, Xbox One Edition, Wii U Edition, PlayStation 3 Edition, PlayStation 4 Edition, and PlayStation Vita Edition. Texture packs cost $2.99 each, however trial versions are available.

Texture packs

Default

This is the default texture pack and contains the same textures as the PC and Pocket Editions. It was released on May 9, 2012.

Plastic

The first texture pack for the Xbox 360 Edition, the Plastic texture pack was released on October 2, 2013.

Natural

Released on October 18, 2013, the Natural texture pack is the second texture pack released for the Xbox 360 Edition.

Fantasy

The third texture pack for the Xbox 360 Edition, the Fantasy texture pack was released on December 11, 2013.

City

The fourth texture pack for the Xbox 360 Edition, the City texture pack was released on March 7, 2014.

Candy

The fifth texture pack for the Xbox 360 Edition, the Candy texture pack was released on April 18, 2014.

Cartoon

The sixth texture pack for the Xbox 360 Edition, the Cartoon texture pack was released on July 15, 2014.

Steampunk

The seventh texture pack for the Xbox 360 Edition, the Steampunk texture pack was released on December 29, 2014.

Pattern

The eighth and latest texture pack for the Xbox 360 Edition, the Pattern texture pack was released on March 25, 2015.

Mash-up packs

Mash-up packs are used in Console Edition as the equivalent of a resource pack. Mash-up packs also come with a skin pack and a themed world in addition to texture packs. Each mash-up pack costs $3.99 (with the exception of the Festive Edition which costs $2.99), however trial versions are available.

Halo Edition

The Halo Mash-up pack was released on May 28, 2014 is based on the science fiction game Halo, developed by Bungie and 343 Industries. It is purchasable through the Xbox 360 or Xbox One marketplace or directly in-game through the Downloadable Content section of the game. This is an Xbox-exclusive pack. Features include:

  • New menu screen
  • New world
  • New item textures
  • New block textures
  • New skins
  • New mob textures

Halo 5 Guardians update

The Halo 5: Guardians update was released on October 28, 2015 and is based on Halo 5: Guardians, developed by 343 Industries. It is downloadable directly in-game or through the Xbox 360/Xbox One marketplace. It is a free update to the Halo Mash-up pack and includes:

Skyrim Edition

The Skyrim Mash-up pack was released on December 9, 2014 and is based on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, developed by Bethesda. It is purchasable through the Xbox 360/Xbox One Marketplace, PlayStation Store, or directly in-game through the Downloadable Content section of the game. Features include:

  • New menu screen
  • New world
  • New item textures
  • New sound effects
  • New skins
