Natural Resources

The following are the blocks and items that IndustrialCraft has added to the map.
Note: All of the Ores take a particularly long time to break unless the Industrial-Improved Pick Add-on is installed, which sets their mining time to the intended amount.
TODO:research more precise probabilities of appearance?

Copper Ore

Copper Ore is the most common of the new ores, between Iron Ore and Coal Ore in terms of probability and size of ore pockets. Copper Ore can be turned into Copper Dust by using a Macerator or smelted into Copper.

Tin Ore

Tin Ore has a slightly lower probability of appearing than Copper Ore. Tin Ore can be turned into Tin Dust by using a Macerator or smelted into Tin.

Uranium Ore

Least common new ore, occurring rarely and in very small pockets. Uranium Ore drops Uranium when successfully mined.

Uranium

  • Crafting:
1 Uranium is dropped by successfully mining a block of Uranium Ore.
  • Recipes:
Uranium is refined into Uranium Fuel Ingots by placing the Uranium into the top slot of a Nuclear Reactor. Note that a Reactor cannot refine Uranium and generate electricity simultaneously.
  • Note:

Uranium should never be used to attempt to make Nuclear Explosives. Such a foolhardy mix of Gunpowder and Uranium is sure to result in catastrophe, even if it were possible.
