Cobblestone's old texture

In the very early versions of Minecraft, Cobblestone had a slightly different texture, with less colors.

Grief

Hi, i reverted 3 times the contributions on minecraft wiki/es from the user Ryo because is deleting the correct links, creating bad links in spanish, outdating the article to english in some places and more. You should report problems on the Minecraft Wiki:Admin noticeboard, not here. As I can't read the language I really have no idea what's going on there in your reverts, for all I know you could be the one reverting to bad language. bug formatting

Hey, Nice work on the template. You seem to know a lot more about this template and table stuff as I do so i appreciate the work you put into it. I've applied some feedback into the fields that I was using so I guess it would be best if yours shows the same fields. The @jeb i changed into 'Statements' - in both cases they represent feedback from Mojang. I added 'cosmetic' to impact for things like "Beds being broken appear to get brighter". (so in my example it's cosmetic-low-normal-high ) , and priority changed to 'Fix announced' (so if we know they are working on some bug to fix before the next version we can add that bit of info, since we cant tell what mojang thinks about the priority and to eliminate that people mark things higher because they think its important)

Suggestion for creating Template:Redirect

Here is a member of Chinese translation project.

Just wondering if there could be a template:redirect like the one on Wikipedia?

There are two opinion of creating new pages: still using "/ch" until all pages are translated, or directly using Chinese characters, as using [[冰]] instead of [[ice/ch]]. However, if adopting the latter one, there would be a huge amount of modification, as all the links in pages should be changed. And before this diversification is not solved, there might be more trouble in the future.

I don't know how the French translation project goes, maybe they had used French for creating pages instead of using "/fr", or had modified all pages manually (hard to believe that)
It could be very nice if you let me know how it goes.

Or if I could recommend you for creating template:redirect.We may just have to add it to every pages' heads, which may getting things easier after finishing all pages, no matter for Chinese or other translation project.

Hello! I'm unable to create pages and I don't know why? I have confirmed my E-mail address but I guess there is more to the anti-spam bot filter?

Anyways is there any way you could make me able to create pages, I would like to do some translation work for my native language (Norwegian) :)

Hi. I know i'm not Ultra but i'd like to tell you about the autoconfirmed usergroup. To make pages, you must confirm your email address, be a user for 3 days and have 10 edits (any edits). Also it's great that we have another translator! When i make pages I search up an article name, and if it doesn't exist, it says if I want to create it. Well, that's what I do. Would an Interwiki-Link Bot make sense?

Hi, afaik, you're one of the two bot creators in the minecraft wiki, so I'm asking you about this: Do you think it would make sense to set up an interwiki-link bot in here? As of now, there are many languages and translations coming up, so I thought about it... I have experience with bots on the wikipedia itself, but not on other wikis, so you might tell me if I just had to change the user-config or anything else too.

Block renders

I'm planning on re-rendering all the block renders so they're facing the same way as the 1.6 inventory (I've also been planning to do them with anti-aliasing, but never got around to it), so just a heads up to not work on flipping any of them as I'll be doing them all anyway. –ultradude25 ^(T|C) at 14:15, 28 May 2011 (UTC)

Mobs Page Lock

Dynamic Page Lists

Hi, I've been trying to sort out mods recently and think that dynamic lists would be a good idea, but the code for DPL doesn't work, so I'm guessing it's not installed on this wiki. I think lists like this would be really nice for organising mods, texture packs, mobs, blocks etc (example from Guild Wars Wiki: Skill template and Skill list.) Seeing how those blocks are in 1.8, he doesn't have the texture files, meaning he can't make renders. RacinFreek 20:06, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Well, I did a pixel-by-pixel reproduction of the blocks, as the image was high quality enough. But if by "do a render" he means "make an isometric screenshot of one block," that has already been handled by 2xmm2. On the other hand, if he means use the textures and take an ingame screenshot, there is no reason to because Jeb's picture is already good enough and is developer sanctioned. New wikis

Hi Ultra! The new wikis we added this weekend seem to have some issues with the crafting grid templates not working. I really don't want to put the {delete} template on this page but I do think it needs to be deleted because the template doesn't do anything but put your string in italics. Template:Dablink. Hope you do the right thing. --KingFredrick VI

I already deleted that once, but prettycoolguy insisted on having it back for standardising. The original message is here. If you want it gone, either get him to agree or see if other admins agree that it's not necessary.

{{Dablink}} (at least as used on Wikipedia) is not meant to be used directly in articles - it is a metatemplate, and as such, is used in other templates, such as Template:For and Template:Redirect.
