Rotten Flesh is a food item added in the Adventure Update. It is dropped by Zombies and Zombie Pigmen, and restores two when eaten. However, Rotten Flesh has an 80% chance of giving the Player food poisoning, which makes the hunger meter deplete three times as quickly for thirty seconds. Rotten Flesh can be given to tamed wolves to cause them to breed.
