Oh yea no problem, I have more than enough time anyways ;D Cool12309(T|C) 02:34, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Jmb64 17:05, 10 May 2011 how would you have me prove that the blocks were generated there and were not placed?

You can't ;) Cool12309(T|C)
Well, actually, he could provide a map seed and coordinates... ;) ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 21:11, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
Well I guess he could, but if the co-ords were thousands of blocks away, there is a much more slim chance of it being recreated exactly if he made it again. Seeds do help the map generation, but the farther away from spawn you go the less seeds affect generation (if you know what I mean) Cool12309(T|C) 22:58, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
What makes you think that? The seed is used as the main random number seed in the terrain generation code, so it should have the same effect on generated terrain regardless of spawn location (I have noticed subtle changes in generated terrain when playing with map seeds, though, so there must be some other factor also being used as a random seed here). ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 23:01, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
That's what I mean, once I was trying out a seed to find a surface lava fall, that caused a fire. However, it did not spawn. I made another world, and it was there. It was about 500 blocks away from spawn, but you could easily see the lava fall if it was there, from the spawn. Cool12309(T|C) 23:08, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
That's weird... Seeds produce always the same map, unless bugged. They are used to generate pseudo-randomness, which does not actually use anything really random, it just uses the x, y, z, and seed as constants for the pseudo-random calculation. This makes it look random, while it, in fact, is not. Sorry if you don't understand this, but I'm just saying they should give the same world every time. TK | TheKax | Talk 14:37, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
The further away from the spawn, the more randomness the world get's with the same seed. It's small though. Cool12309(T|C) 20:54, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

Sugar cane.

On the edit you just did on the sugar cane page, well I agree that the correct capitalization is sugar cane, on the mouse popup they are called Sugar Cane. I think that both can be argued for reasonably in this situation. Timberdoodle 23:43, 11 May 2011 (UTC) Sorry wasn't looking at it thoroughly, its Sugar Canes. Timberdoodle 23:46, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

And I don't see your point with the in-game name relating to grammar? The in-game name is a title, meant to be capitalized. When used in general sentences such as the article, it shouldn't be capitalized. Cool12309(T|C) 00:28, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

You're right, I didn't think of that, sorry for any trouble I have caused. Timberdoodle 11:38, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Did you even look at what I changed? I only capitalized it to keep the capitalization somewhat consistant (because it was all over the place). That's a *minor* part of the changes I made though - I don't even care what the capitalization of the thing is. But thanks for acting like capitalizing "Sugar Cane" is the equivalent of spelling like a retarded 2 year old. -_- --Warlock 14:18, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

You guys should be careful with the insults that you decide to throw around in your edit war. Kiwimango 01:58, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Man made lake tutorial

I'm not pissed off by all that "deleting my tuto" thing yet, but could you at least point out what the grammar issues are ? Then i'll fix it and everybody will be happy. That would be much appreciated Kinperor 16:56, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

X : Y or X :Y

Should be X: Y

i or i'm

Should be I or I'm

X.Y or X .Y or X . Y

Should be X. Y

X?Y or X ?Y or X ? Y

Should be X? Y

There are various others, such as run-on sentences, spelling mistakes, incomplete sentences, etc. Cool12309(T|C) 19:42, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

Alright, is it up to standards now? Kinperor 00:06, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
