- While I don't think projects need special approval, we should probably throw in a "get # members within # weeks and your project will be continued" rule somewhere, so we won't have projects that end up abandoned.--Quatroking - MCWiki Administrator 15:32, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
- I say let them be... if they go no where, there's no real harm, if they do succeed, all the better for the wiki in general. At least with the project organization, there is a central location for people to look for things to do, and they keep the files organized and easy to find. -- Wynthyst

- Well I'm just going on what you were talking to me about a few days ago about asking if anyone actually needs/wants this, and if anyone wants to be involved or have any suggestions for it. Why I created this thread
There was a page on the forums about applying for wiki admin, so I wanted to be one.
Later on I found out there is no admin, so I just want to volunteer.
I got some friends and signed them up.
They said that they would translate a page every night.
How to create a new page?
Well first, I love Minecraft... yes, I'm a big fan of it. I guess that's why I'm here.
I came from China, however, now I live in the UK therefore I'm good with both languages. I am willingly to contribute and translate some of the wiki articles into Chinese as I am sure this would help a lot for the Chinese players.
I have a problem here as I cannot create pages (subpages), I followed exactly as how it's instructed in the project page but I just can't create a new page. Don't I have the privilege? What do I need to do in order to create new pages and start translating for Minecraft Wiki?

- This question has been asked several time (that includes me), and has been answered here. Basicly, your e-mail address have to be firstly confirmed, then you wait for 3 days and have make 10 edits. Then you will have permission. After you gained permission you can follow the instruction in the here to create a new page. Zhongguo 19:14, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
