Quark Plus is an upcoming mod addon to the Quark mod for Minecraft: Java Edition, planned to become available sometime after the 1.13 Update Aquatic in Spring 2018. It will be compatible with Quark adding in more features all fitting with the original moto. All of the features can be configured to be on or off, and even modified to your liking in the Mod Options menu.

There is currently a total of 210 features available in this mod, with all of the features in either being thought of by Trailblazer101, were suggested by other users, or were taken from ideas on r/minecraftsuggestions and r/QuarkMod, with my friend Searingjet announcing that he will make this mod real with my credit once he takes the time to learn the Java coding software.

List of Features

Burn-Out Torches

Regular Torches will now burn-out after 10,000 game ticks, which can be configured. They can be relit with Flint and Steel. Additionally, you can set the burn-out time to -1 to have them never burn-out.

Glowstone Torches

Glowstone Torches are an equivalent of Torches which provide more luminosity than regular Torches and don't burn-out. They are crafted from a Stick and a piece of Glowstone Dust. They can also be used as fuel in Furnaces. If this feature is enabled, and the Place Glowstone and Gunpowder feature from Quark are also enabled, then placed Glowstone Dust will emit the same amount of light as Glowstone Torches, rather than regular Torches.

Burn-Out Candles

All variants of Candles will now burn-out after 10,000 game ticks, which can be configured. They can be relit with Flint and Steel. Additionally, you can set the burn-out time to -1 to have them never burn-out.

Transparent Carved Pumpkins

When wearing a Carved Pumpkin on your head, you have an increase in visibility, but still, have your vision impaired a bit.

Endermen Eye Colors

Endermen's eye colors now change when in different dimensions. When in the Overworld, their eyes are green. When in the Nether, their eyes are red. When in the End, their eyes remain purple. You can configure the eye color for Endermen in other dimensions from other mods as well, using hex codes.

Endermen Eye Lasers

Endermen now shoot lasers out of their eyes when a Player's crosshairs gaze upon them. Their lasers correspond to the same color as their eyes. Upon getting hit by a laser, you will be afflicted with Blindness. If you are wearing a Carved Pumpkin on your head, then Endermen won't shoot lasers at you.

Endermen Teleportation and Pick Block Nerf

Endermen's teleportation and pick blocking features have been nerfed, disallowing them to teleport through and picking up Obsidian and Bedrock, allowing for an easier way to farming them. Additionally, you can configure which blocks Endermen can't teleport through or pick up. If you already have Endermen block picking configured in Data Packs, those will be checked first before the ones in the config. If any specifications overlap, the one from the Data Pack will be used first.

Baby Endermen

Baby Endermen now have a chance to spawn whenever an Endermen tries to spawn, or when using the Enderman Spawn Egg. They are passive mobs that teleport fast and have the same nerfs as Endermen. They don't shoot lasers and won't get hostile when looked at. When hit, Endermen in a chunk radius will get provoked and attack you in an attempt to protect them.

Upside Down Elytra Flying

When flying with an Elytra, you can hold SHIFT to fly upside down, allowing the use of some cool tricks.

Backpack Slot

In your Inventory, there is a new slot known as the Backpack slot. Elytras, Capes, as well as other mentioned items below, can now be placed in them rather than in your Chestplates slot. Any items placed in them will overlap any Chestplates in your Chestplates slot so you can be fully protected and have an easy way of getting out of tough situations.

Quivers

Quivers are a new item used for storing Arrows in 5 separate Inventory slots. They are crafted from two Leather in a vertical right line with a String on the bottom right corner closest to the Leather. They can be placed in your new Backpack slot, and when you have a Bow in your hands and ready to fire Arrows will first be taken from your Quiver, then will be taken from your Inventory, Hot Bar, or Off-Hand. There is also a miniature Quiver icon located on the right side of your Hot Bar which shows the exact number of each different kind of Arrows that you have in your Quiver, similar to the Usage Ticker feature from Quark. You can also configure it so the Quiver icon will display the total amount of each different kind of Arrow in your Inventory, Hot Bar, Off-Hand, and Quiver. You can take Arrows in or out of Quivers by holding the Quiver in your hand and right-clicking it.

Scabbards

Scabbards are a new item used for storing one Sword in. They are crafted from three Leather in a vertical right line with two String in the two slots in the bottom right corner closest to the Leather. They can be placed in your new Backpack slot. You can take the Sword in or out by either using a preferred keybind, default is S, or by holding the Scabbard in your hand and right-clicking it.

Backpacks

Backpacks are a new item used for storing items in. They are crafted from any regular Chest in the middle surrounded by any of the same type of Wool in a donut shape. You can also craft any type of Backpack with a Dye to receive that corresponding Colored Backpack. They have the same Inventory space as Chests and can be placed in your new Backpack slot. When hovered over in your Inventory, either a list of the items in the Backpack or a miniature Inventory will appear showing you its contents, just like the Shulker Boxes, but have the same color as the Backpack, only if chosen in the config. You can take items in or out by holding the Backpack in your hand and right-clicking it.

Capes

Capes are now a rare item found in Dungeon Chests. Capes can be dyed any of the colors using any of the Dyes. They can also be crafted with any Banner and Flag to receive that corresponding Banner and Flag design on the Cape. Capes can be placed in your new Backpack slot. If you already have a Cape apart of your character, then it will be turned into an item located in your new Backpack slot to avoid content overlap. Additionally, you can use the /give command to give yourself the Cape of a corresponding player. By doing this command, /give @p minecraft:cape of <Username>, you will be given that corresponding users' Cape.

Flags and Flag Brackets

Flags are a new decorative item which is crafted from two Sticks in a vertical alignment with any type of Banner to the right of the top Stick. They can be placed in Flag Brackets, which are crafted from a diagonal vertical right alignment of Iron Ingots, and can be placed on walls. They can be positioned differently when in Flag Brackets. They can also be placed on the ground regularly without a Flag Bracket.

Banner, Cape, and Flag Themed Elytras

Elytras can be crafted with any Banner, Cape, and Flag to receive the corresponding Banner, Cape, and Flag design on both wings of the Elytra.

Arm Guards

Arm Guards are a new item crafted from a vertical line of three of the same armor materials to receive the corresponding Arm Guards. They can be placed in your new Arm Guards slot in your Inventory and can be placed on the arms of Armor Stands by clicking on either the left or right arms.

Gauntlets

Gauntlets are a new item which can be used when held in your Inventory or in your off-hand. They are crafted from six of the same armor material in two horizontal lines (three in each) and can have the same enchantments and functions as Axes as well as regular punching, just being faster and stronger. They can also be placed in the hands of Armor Stands.

Natural Ender Chest Buttons

Ender Chests now have the Ender Chest Buttons appear in their Inventory naturally rather than having to add them in via the Quark config.

Trapped Ender Chests

Trapped Ender Chests are crafted from an Ender Chest and a Tripwire Hook. It has the same Chest Button features as the other Chests. When opened, the Player has access to their normal Ender Chest Inventory, but it will close and teleport away quickly, still being in sight, shutting you out of the Inventory.

Nether Chests and Trapped Nether Chests

Nether Chests are a new item which is crafted in a donut formation of either Nether Brick (block), Red Nether Brick, or Charred Nether Brick with a Nether Star in the center. It has the same Chest Button features as the other Chests. The stack size of any item put in each type of Nether Chests is multiplied by 8 and can be accessed by any Nether Chest in any dimension. They also have a Trapped Nether Chest which is crafted from any of the 3 Nether Chests and a Tripwire Hook, and upon being opened, it will explode.

Snow Golems in Cold Biomes

Snow Golems now spawn naturally in the Overworld Cold Biomes.

Wither Skeletons in the Nether

Wither Skeletons now spawn naturally in the Nether.

Necrotic Bones, Necrotic Bone Meal, and Necrotic Bone Blocks

Wither Skeletons now drop Necrotic Bones rather than regular Bones. Necrotic Bones can be crafted into Necrotic Bone Meal, which can be used to grow Nether Wart, and can be crafted into Necrotic Bone Blocks. Bone Meal can no longer grow Nether Wart, only Necrotic Bone Meal can. If Necrotic Bone Meal is used on any other crop, besides the ones from the Nether, it will kill them, not dropping anything.

Bone Meal Tweaks

Bone Meal can now be used to grow Cactus and Sugar Cane through each of their stages. Additionally, you can use Bone Meal on Dirt to grow it into a Grass Block, and you can use Bone Meal on Sand to grow Dead Bushes and Sugar Canes on them.

Skeletons and Slimes Nether Transference

When Skeletons and Slimes try to spawn in the Nether by any means, they are replaced by Wither Skeletons and Magma Cubes respectively. This will not affect the Slime in a Bucket.

Creepers Ignite TNT and Gunpowder Dust Trails and Creeper Hide

Creepers can ignite TNT and Gunpowder dust trails when walking near them. Additionally, Creepers will now drop Creeper Hide when killed, which can ignite TNT and Gunpowder dust trails when dropped near them. They can also be used as a Cactus Green Dye.

Bone Slabs, Stairs, and Walls

Bone Blocks, Necrotic Bone Blocks, and Ender Bone Blocks can be crafted into the corresponding Slabs, Stairs, and Walls for more decoration.

Dyeable Shulkers and Shulker Shells

Shulkers can be dyed any of the 16 colors using the corresponding Dye via shift-right-clicking on them. Upon death, Shulkers will drop the corresponding colored Shulker Shells. You can craft any colored Shulker Shell with any Dye to receive that corresponding colored Shulker Shell. Any colored Shulker Shell can be crafted with any regular Chest to receive that corresponding colored Shulker Box.

Shulker Shearing

You can now shear Shulkers with Shears to receive two of the corresponding Shulker Shells. After Shulkers have been sheared, they act more hostile, shooting out more Shulker Bullets, and jump around.

Infinite Shulker Box Storage

Shulker Boxes can now be stored inside of Shulker Boxes.

Shulker Shell Armor

Shulker Shells can be crafted into Helmets, Chestplates, Arm Guards, Leggings, and Boots. Upon wearing them, you will be given Blast Resistance I.

Obtainable Shulker Bullets

Shulker Bullets are a new item which can be crafted from any Potions of Levitation and a Shulker Shell. They can be dispensed via Dispensers similar to Fire Charges and inflict Levitation.

Shulker Box Buttons

Shulker Boxes now have Shulker Box Buttons in them, having the same features as the ones in the Chests, Ender Chests, and Nether Chests, but with a Shulker Box icon.

Equal Ender Dragons

Every respawned Ender Dragon will drop the same amount of XP upon death, have a Dragon Egg spawn, as well as dropping Dragon Scales.

Crafting Table and Enchanting Table Tile Entities

Crafting Tables and Enchanting Tables now become tile entities which allow items to remain in them and can now be moved by Pistons, only if the Pistons Move Tile Entities feature from Quark is enabled. Additionally, when items are in the Crafting and Enchanting Tables, they will be displayed on top of them.

Structure Blocks Save Modded Blocks and Items

Structure Blocks can now save blocks and items from mods in them.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot

Rabbit's Feet now provide Luck when held in your hands. The amount of Luck can be configured as well as if the Rabbit's Foot takes durability damage upon each use or not.

Vex Block Traveling Nerf and Vexpolasm

Vexes' block traveling feature has been nerfed disallowing them to travel through Obsidian and Bedrock. Additionally, you can configure which blocks Vexes can't travel through. They now also drop Vexoplasm which, when held in your hands, can be used to travel through all the same blocks as Vexes, also applying to the same block traveling nerf. It can be configured to take durability damage upon each use or not. It can also be used as a Grey Dye.

Improved Illager Spawns and Illusion Dust

The spawning of Illagers in Woodland Mansions have been improved with the Vindicator spawning more frequently, the Evoker being able to respawn and have multiple ones spawning, and the Illusioner spawning once as a mini-boss dropping his corresponding Bow as well as 4 Illusion Dust. Illusion Dust can be brewed with a Potion of Invisibility to receive a Potion of Illusions, which can be used to give Illusions to yourself and can be made into the corresponding Splash Potion, Lingering Potion, and Arrow to give Illusions to others. Illusions can make Players believe an event like a thunderstorm, or a Creeper exploding is happening in front or near them when in reality, it isn't. Very useful for trolling. When Illusion is inflicted on Players, colorful particles will pop up and down in front of them, with the screen moving around, similarly with Nausea, but less.

Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy is a two-tall plant which generates in Jungle biomes. When walked through, it gives Poison. It is also affected by the two-tall plant Bone Meal trick and can be crafted into two Lime Dye.

Cyan Flowers

Cyan Flowers is a new type of flower which generates naturally upon the use of Bone Meal and in Plains biomes. It can be crafted into Cyan Dye.

Bookshelf Book Storage

Bookshelves are now Tile Entities still being able to be moved by Pistons and have a GUI where you can store any type of Book in.

Lecterns

Lecterns are a new item used to display any type of Book. You can add and take out Books from them by right-clicking on them, opening up their GUI where an Inventory slot is located with a Book icon indicated that is where you place Books. You can also view the contents of the Books in the GUI as well. Lecterns, being Tile Entities, can also be moved by Pistons. They are crafted from three of any of the same Wooden Slabs on the bottom and a 3x2 of the same Wooden Planks above them.

Ender Lanterns

Ender Lanterns are a new decorative block crafted from a + of Eyes of Ender and End Rods in the corners. It provides the same amount of luminosity as the Blaze Lanterns.

Iron Plate and Rusty Iron Plate Walls

Iron Plates and Rusty Iron Plates can be crafted in a 2x3 shape to output the corresponding Walls.

Rusty Iron Plate Stairs and Slabs

Rusty Iron Plates can be crafted into the corresponding Stairs and Slabs, with the Stairs outputting 8 and the Slabs outputting 6. You can also craft the Iron Plate Stair and Slab with a Water Bucket to receive the rusty counterparts.

Magma Brick Walls

Magma Bricks can be crafted in a 2x3 shape to output a Magma Brick Wall.

Flat Glass Item Frames

Glass Item Frames can now be placed on the ground like regular Item Frames can. The same mechanics for the regular Item Frames still apply.

Stained Glass Item Frames

Glass Item Frames now have Stained variants crafted from any Colored Item Frame and any Stained Glass Pane. You can also craft any Stained Glass Item Frame with any Dye to receive the corresponding Stained Glass Item Frame. They still appear invisible when an item is placed in them, however, the items in them get tinted with the corresponding color of the Glass Item Frame. The same mechanics used with regular Glass Item Frames still apply, as well as the Stained Glass Item Frames being able to be put on the ground.

Horizontal Glass Panes

Horizontal Glass Panes are crafted from any of the same Glass Pane in a horizontal line to receive 3 of that corresponding Horizontal Glass Pane. You can do the opposite to craft them back.

Glass Panes Fill in Gaps

All types of Glass Panes now fill in gaps where they can’t normally be placed.

Stained Glass Shard Crafting

Glass Shards can be crafted with any of the same 2 Dyes to receive the corresponding Stained Glass Shard.

Soul Glass

Soul Glass is a Nether equivalent of Glass disallowing light to come in from the outside. They are smelted from putting Soul Sand in a Furnace, or crafted from the corresponding 4 Soul Glass Shards, and have the corresponding Glass Shard, Glass Pane, Horizontal Glass Pane, and Glass Item Frame variants as well as having the Panes fill in gaps.

Vertical Slabs

Slabs can now be placed vertically, allowing them to be placed on the sides of walls, and just vertically up and down.

Slab Crafting Tweaks

When crafting the Stone and Purpur Slabs, you can use any Stone block variant and any Purpur block variant respectively.

Enchanting Crystals

Enchanting Crystals are new blocks which generate naturally in Enchanting Crystal Caves, which are a new underground biome. They can be mined with Pickaxes and each corresponds to a certain Enchantment. They can be put in an Anvil with any item that allows Enchantments to give that item the corresponding Enchantment and can be put in an Anvil with a Book to receive that corresponding Enchanted Book.

Blazes Drop Glowstone Dust

Blazes now drop 1-4 Glowstone Dust upon being killed by a Player similar to that on the Legacy Console Editions.

Blazes Emit Light

Blazes can now emit light, the same amount as Glowstone Torches.

Thirst Bar

The Thirst Bar is a new bar above your Hunger Bar. It goes down slower than your Hunger Bar and can be filled up by drinking Water Bottles, Milk Buckets, and Potions. It goes down faster in Desert and Mesa biomes and in the Nether. It doesn’t go down at all when in the rain or when underwater.

Crows and Scarecrows

Crows are a new neutral mob which spawns near Villages. They take and eat the Villagers' crops. The more you hit the Crows, the faster they will fly away. Scarecrows are a new passive mob which spawns in Villages. They protect the Villagers' crops from being taken and eaten by Crows. They can also be summoned by placing down 2 Hay Bales and a Carved Pumpkin or Jack o' Lantern in the same formation as a Snow Golem.

Ender Skeletons

Ender Skeletons are a new hostile mob which spawns naturally in the Outer End and the interior of the Obsidian Towers. Their bones have the same color of End Stone, they have the same cloak as Strays but in dark green and black, they have their eyes change color in each dimension, the same as Endermen, and they shoot Arrows of Levitation, Slowness, or Blindness. Upon death, they drop Ender Bones which can be crafted to make Ender Bone Meal which can be used to grow Chorus Plants and can be crafted into Ender Bone Blocks.

Obsidian Tower Interiors

The Obsidian Towers now have an interior which can be accessed by going through the 2 block gap on the bottom. In them is a parkour course filled with Endermen and Ender Skeletons. There is hidden loot throughout them as well, a downstairs with more loot, as the Ender Crystals at the top.

Ender Mage

The Ender Mage is a new hostile mob mini-boss which spawns guarding the End Portal in the Stronghold. He wears an End Stone colored cloak with dark green on it, purple eyes and black skin as well as carries a Staff of Ender. If a Player is a certain distance away, he will teleport them to him. If a Player is a certain distance close, he will teleport them away. Upon death, he drops Ender Pearls and the Staff of Ender.

Nether Knight

The Nether Knight is a new hostile mini-boss which spawns guarding the Nether Fortresses in the Nether. He wears Quartz Armor, wields an Iron Sword and a Shield with a Wither Skeleton Skull on it with a red background and red skin like a giant demon troll. He is immune to fire and walks very slow. Upon death, he will drop his armor and weapons.

Camels

Camels are a Desert variant of Llamas which spawn naturally in Desert biomes. They function the same as Llamas and, when a Carpet is put in their Inventory, it will display with a modified design of what Llamas have, but with a more Ancient Egyptian look. They are also affected by the Safe Mounts feature from Quark.

Controllable Llamas and Camels

Llamas and Camels can now be ridden and controlled just like Horses.

Passengers

When riding on Horses, Llamas, Camels, Donkeys, and Mules or in Boats and Minecarts, you can have a second Player riding with you on or in the back.

Boat Storage

You can now put any block that can be placed in Minecarts in Boats by right-clicking on them with the item in your selected hands or by crafting. Passengers will ride on top of any blocks stored in them, which will also apply to the Minecarts as well. When Furnaces in Boats are being fueled, it will give your Boat energy to move, like a steamboat.

Boat Crafting Tweak

The Boat crafting recipe now requires a Wooden Shovel just like on the Bedrock Edition. If the All the Wooden Tools feature is enabled, you are required to use the Shovel of the corresponding Wooden Boat material in the crafting.

All the Wooden Tools

All Wooden tools are now crafted in the same formation, using the same type of Wooden Planks to receive the corresponding Wooden tools.

Witch Villages

Witch Villages are a new structure which generates naturally in Swamp biomes. They consist of 8 Witch Huts connected together with a Cauldron in the center, containing a Harming Potion, burning from a Block of Charcoal.

Witch Trading and Dark Gems

Witches can now be traded with, having the same robe colors as Villagers, with the exception of the Nitwits. The Witches with purple robes are like Nitwits, being the only Witches that don't trade. Witches will trade Potions and Potion ingredients, having their main currency being Dark Gems, which can be mined near the bottom of the Overworld.

Witches Follow Blocks of Dark Gems

When holding a Block of Dark Gems in your hand, nearby Witches will follow you around.

Salt, Blocks of Salt, and Salt Water

Salt is a new item broken from Blocks of Salt to output 1-4, which generate naturally on the bottom of Oceans and in underground Caves and Mines. Salt Blocks can also be crafted to receive 4 Salt, which can be crafted back into a Block of Salt. Salt can be crafted with any kind of Food to receive a salted variant of it which, upon being eaten, provides you with one extra heart. When you right-click Salt into a Cauldron filled with Water, it becomes full of Salt Water. Salt Water can be taken out with a Bucket and can be drunk to give you limited Swiftness and brief Nausea.

Magma Blocks Cook Food Items

When any food items which can be smelted are thrown onto Magma Blocks, they get cooked into their cooked variants. If any food items remain on Magma Blocks for 100 game ticks, they will burn into Coal.

Carrot Cake and Blocks

Carrots and Golden Carrots can be crafted into the corresponding Cake and Block and back again. (This feature was kindly contributed to Quark Plus by Skittleflake.)

Eatable Glistering Melons and Golden Carrots

You can now eat Glistering Melons and Golden Carrots, which have the same effects as a Golden Apple. There are also Enchanted Glistering Melons and Golden Carrots which are crafted from a donut shape of Blocks of Gold surrounding a Melon and a Carrot respectively.

The Enchanted Golden Apple Crafting recipe of an Apple in the center surrounded by a donut shape of Blocks of Gold has been readded.

Peaceful Mode Mob Spawns

When in Peaceful Mode, all mobs will still spawn, except they won't attack you. This can also be configured to act out in the opposite manner, disallowing any hostile mobs to spawn in Peaceful Mode.

More Mob Heads

Every vanilla and Quark mob will now drop their corresponding Mob Head upon death by a Charged Creeper, this feature already applies to mobs from Quark Plus. When wearing Mob Heads on your head, you will have the vision of that corresponding mob. Additionally, when wearing a Mob Head, you are protected from that corresponding mob's attacks.

Skeleton Sniper Vision

When wearing a Skeleton Skull on your head and shooting Arrows, you will have a meter next to your crosshairs indicating if you are able to hit your target or not. You can also increase your vision by pressing C, which can be configured to a preferred keybind, however, the default one works conjunctionally with the Optifine mod if loaded to prevent content overlap.

Spider Abilities

When wearing a Spider or a Cave Spider Head on your head, you will have the ability to climb walls and Night Vision.

Spider Cobweb Attack

Spiders and Cave Spiders now trap you in Cobwebs when attacking.

Cobweb Crafting

Cobwebs can be crafted from a + of String and can be crafted into 5 String.

More Spawn Eggs

Every vanilla mob now receives a corresponding Spawn Egg found in the Creative Mode Inventory. This also applies to the Illusioner, Giant, Killer Bunny, Wither, and Ender Dragon. All mobs added in with Quark Plus have Spawn Eggs by default. Additionally, you can configure it so that each variant of a mob has a Spawn Egg, i.e. each Villager occupation and Sheep color.

Spawn-Proof Plants and Crops

Mobs can no longer spawn on any blocks with plants and crops on them.

Useful Bats

Bats now drop Leather and 5 levels of experience upon death. They can also be tamed with Pumpkin Pie and can ride on your shoulders similar to Parrots. When wearing the Bat Head on your head, you will gain Night Vision as well as a slight increase in hearing, the sound level can be configured.

Blue and Green Fire

Fire now changes different colors when in different dimensions. When in the Nether, it is blue. When in the End, it is green. When in the Overworld, it remains reddish orange.

Dragon Scale Armor

Dragon Scales can be crafted into Helmets, Chestplates, Arm Guards, Leggings, Boots, Swords, Pickaxes, Shovels, Hoes, and Axes. The tools use 2 End Rods rather than 2 Sticks. The Helmets also use a Dragon Head for the Dragon Head shape. The Chestplates use any Elytra for the wings, also allowing you to fly.

Dragon Head Protection

When wearing the Dragon Head on your head, you gain immunity against all status effects, much like the Ender Dragon.

Endermites Hatch Dragon Eggs and Baby Ender Dragon

When Endermites are next to a Dragon Egg, they have a rare chance to burrow into the Dragon Egg, similar to them burrowing into Purpur Blocks. When they do, they fuse with the Dragon Egg, hatching it, forming a Baby Ender Dragon. The Baby Ender Dragon can be tamed with Chorus Fruit and can be ridden with a Saddle. You can also apply Dragon Armor, which is just the regular Horse Armor Crafting recipes with any Elytra in the top center square. They can be controlled to fly around in the sky as well as walking on land, and can even shootout Dragon Fireballs to attack enemies and destroy the terrain, unleashing purple fire.

Dragon Egg Duplication

You can craft a Dragon Egg with Dragon's Breath to receive another Dragon Egg with the Dragon Egg used in the Crafting recipe remaining.

Beheading Enchantment

The Beheading Enchantment is an enchantment used on Swords provided from an Enchanted Book used to make all mobs drop their corresponding mob head upon death when using it. The Enchanted Book for it is a rare item only found in naturally generated Stronghold Chests.

Name Tag Crafting

Name Tags can be crafted from 2 Paper and 1 String in a slanted vertical right line.

Colored Name Tags

Name Tags can be crafted with any Dye to receive that corresponding Colored Name Tag. When a name is typed in them and the Colored Name Tag is put on a mob, their name will display the same color as the Colored Name Tag. You can also combine any Colored Name Tag with an item in an Anvil to give the item's tooltip name the corresponding color of the Dye it was made with, being used as a more realistic feature than the Dyed Item Names feature from Quark, but doesn't remove that feature. This costs 3 levels.

Acid and New Quartz Items

Acid Pools are a new pool location filled with acid which naturally generates in the Nether close to Lava Lakes and is surrounded by Obsidian. You can pick up the acid with a Quartz Bucket, which is crafted the same as an Iron Bucket but with Nether Quartz. If you use an Iron Bucket, it will just disintegrate. You can put acid in a Quartz Cauldron, which is crafted the same as an Iron Cauldron but with Blocks of Quartz and Nether Quartz. You can then throw in a Golden Carrot and wait a few minutes to have it turned into water, which can be obtained by regular means. That water still can't be placed down in the Nether though. In addition to this, on the roof of the Nether, there will be black clouds which have a chance to rain down acid rain, which damages all players and mobs upon impact. Acid rain has the same chance of raining as regular rain does in the Overworld. Also, if you disable clouds in your settings, the black clouds disable as well.

Quartz Armor and Tools

Nether Quartz can be crafted into the corresponding Helmets, Chestplates, Arm Guards, Leggings, and Boots and can be crafted with Blaze Rods into the corresponding Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, and Hoe all still using the same Crafting recipe design as the rest of the Armors and Tools.

Pigmen, Pigmen Villages, and Rubies

Pigmen are a new passive mob which spawns naturally in Pigmen Villages which are made out of different kinds of Nether Bricks. They are the Nether equivalents of Villagers having all of the same occupations with their cloaks having a change in color to clarify each occupant and have the currency of Rubies, Gold Ingots if not enabled. Even though they have Gold Swords, they are very weak. When Pigmen are attacked by Zombie Pigmen, they will be turned into Zombie Pigmen. To turn Zombie Pigmen into Pigmen, you can through a Splash Potion of Healing and a Golden Carrot at them. Their currency is Rubies, Gold if disabled. Rubies can be mined from Ruby Ore found naturally throughout the Nether. They can be crafted into Blocks of Rubies and back again. Upon death, Pigmen will drop 0-1 Raw Porkchop.

Pigmen Follow Blocks of Rubies

When holding a Block of Ruby in your hand, nearby Pigmen will follow you around.

Nethershrooms

Blue and Black Nethershrooms are the Nether equivalents of Red and Brown Mushrooms respectively which generate naturally throughout the Nether and replace the Red and Blue Mushrooms.

Fieldstone

Fieldstone is a new decorative block crafted from Cobblestone, Granite, Andesite, and Diorite in any square shape to output 4. It can be crafted into 4 Polished Fieldstone which can be crafted into Fieldstone Walls, Slabs, and Stairs, just like the More Stone Bricks feature from Quark. Fieldstone can be used in conjunction with the rest of the Stone blocks in crafting Stone Tools.

Villager, Pigmen, and Witches Loot

Upon death, Villagers, Pigmen, and Witches will drop the total amount of Emeralds, Rubies, or Dark Gems that they have. The drop chance will not increase with the Looting enchantment. What you get was all they had. Very useful if a Villager, Pigman, or Witch rips you off in a trade.

Villager, Pigmen, and Witch Tile Entity Trading

You can now store items inside of any available slots in a Villager's, Pigmen's, and Witch's trading Inventory.

Squid Death Animation

Upon death, Squids now have a death animation featuring their tentacles going out, squirting ink as they fall slowly to the ground.

Polar Bear Hides

Polar Bears now drop Polar Bear Hide upon death. The drop chance is increased when sheared.

Directional Compasses

Compasses now have the direction symbols located on each side that they correspond to so you know which direction you are going in, for those who don't prefer using the F3 menu.

Better End Crystal Crafting

The Eye of Ender used in the End Crystal crafting is replaced by a Nether Star to fit the design of the End Crystal. (This feature disables itself if the Draconic Evolution mod is loaded to prevent content overlap.)

Gravel, Sand, Red Sand, and Soul Sand Crafting

Gravel can be crafted from 1 Cobblestone. Sand can be crafted from 1 Gravel to receive 2. Red Sand can be crafted from 1 Sand surrounded by Rose Red Dye on each corner. Soul Sand can be crafted from 1 Cobweb in the center surrounded by a donut shape of either Sand or Red Sand.

Rotten Flesh and Poisonous Potato Smeltables

Rotten Flesh and Poisonous Potatoes can be Smelted in a Furnace to receive Leather and a regular Potato respectively.

Whoppers

Whoppers, short for Wooden Hoppers, are a Wooden equivalent of Hoppers crafted in a V shape of any of the same Wooden Planks and Colored Wooden Planks with the corresponding Chest the same way as crafting a Hopper to receive the corresponding Whopper. Whoppers have only 3 Inventory spaces and are meant for early Redstone usage.

Directional Hoppers and Whoppers

Hoppers and Whoppers now have arrows fitting the same texture as them pointing in the direction that the Hopper and Whopper are facing.

Hoppers and Whoppers Play Music Discs

Hoppers and Whoppers can play Music Discs if there's a Jukebox directly in front of them, just like on the Bedrock Edition. If there's already a Music Disc in the Jukebox, it gets placed back into the Hopper or Whopper if space is open. If not, then it will be put on the ground.

Leather Horse Armor and Horse Armor Crafting

Leather Horse Armor is a Leather counterpart of the Horse Armors which can be crafted with any Dye to give it the corresponding Dye color or by shift-right-clicking it with a Dye. They are crafted from 3 Brown Wool across the center with 1 Leather in the top right corner and 1 Leather in the bottom left and right corners. The rest of the Horse Armors are crafted with the corresponding material and respective Colored Wool of the center.

Carpets to Wool

You can now craft 6 Carpets of the same color in a shapeless crafting grid to receive 3 of the corresponding Colored Wool. Additionally, you can now craft any Carpets in a donut shape with any Dye in the center to receive 8 of the corresponding dyed Carpets, similarly with Wool.

Colored Bed Crafting Tweak

You can craft any Colored Bed with any Dye to receive the corresponding dyed Colored Bed, similarly to the feature on the Bedrock and Legacy Console Editions.

All the Wooden Beds

Beds can now be crafted using any of the same Wooden Planks and Colored Wooden Planks to add more variety to the game. The original Beds will use Oak Wooden Planks, having a slight texture change to fit the Oak color, and will be renamed to "<Dye> Oak Bed", but don't have the ID changed.

Banner, Cape, and Flag Themed Beds

Colored Beds can now be crafted with any themed Banner, Cape, or Flag to receive the corresponding theme on the sheets of the Bed.

Iron Gates

Iron Gates is a new item crafted from 2 Blocks of Iron in the bottom two middle rows with 2 Iron Bars on the sides of them. They can output a Redstone signal just like regular Fence Gates, but can only be activated by a Redstone signal, much like Iron Doors.

Red and Charred Nether Brick Fences and Fence Gates

Red Nether Bricks and Charred Nether Bricks can now be crafted into the corresponding Fences in the same formation as crafting the Nether Brick Fence. The Red and Charred Nether Brick Fences can be crafted into the corresponding Fence Gates in the same formation as crafting the Nether Brick Fence Gate.

Regular, Red, and Charred Nether Brick Walls

Regular, Red, and Charred Nether Bricks can now be crafted into the corresponding walls.

Chain Armor Crafting

Chain Armor can be crafted from Iron Bars to receive the corresponding Helmets, Chestplates, Arm Guards, Leggings, and Boots all using the same Crafting design as the rest of the Armors.

Note Block Doorbells

When Note Blocks are placed next to any kind of Door, upon clicking any Button on them, will play a doorbell noise corresponding to each Door. The sound pitch can be changed with each click, and the distance of how close or far the Note Block has to be from the Doors in order to play the noise can be configured. By default, it is set to 2 blocks.

Music Maker

You can craft a Note Block and a Jukebox to receive a Music Maker which is a Tile Entity which can be pushed by Pistons. In the GUI, there is the same interface as the Note Block. You can use that to play a certain string of music. You can also put in any Music Disc in a slot, rename it to anything, and add in any Dye to change the color. This will output a Music Disc having the corresponding credentials, which acts just like any other Music Disc.

Stack Size Tweaks

Any item that is 100% exactly the same can stack up to 64, however, each individual item's stack size can be configured. Anything with durability won't stack with each other, even if they are 100% exactly the same, this cannot be configured. To prevent overlay, when Water Bottles are in Brewing Stands, they will not stack.

Delete All Items

As an addition to Quark's Delete Items feature, you can press Ctrl+A+DELETE to delete all items from your Inventory, Hot Bar, Off-Hand, and items that are on you or in your 2x2 Crafting grid. This cannot be undone. This won't delete any of your "Favorite Items" or items in your Hidden Inventory unless you perform the command in it.

Hidden Inventory

Pressing Alt+Z will open up your own personal Hidden Inventory which has all of the same features available as your regular Inventory, and can be used to store items in, keeping them hidden away. The items in your Hidden Inventory won't be lost upon death, won't be affected by the Delete All Items feature, unless if the command is used in the Hidden Inventory, and can't be seen by Server Admins, even if they are using cheats to view your Inventory. It also works conjunctionally with the Hotbar Changer feature from Quark.

Help Fixer

When using the /help command, all commands will be shown in alphabetical order and, when hovered over, will provide a description of what the command can do. This feature also fixes an error with modded commands so they will also have the same features as before. It uses the same string of code used for the mod of the same name. (This feature disables itself if the HelpFixer mod is loaded to prevent content overlap.)

Command Shortcuts

Within the configuration of the mod, you can add in any type of command in a rectangular space, and to the right, you can add in any type of text in another rectangular space to be a shortcut of the previous command which can be typed in to easily output commands.

Hover Notes

Hover Notes are a new text display which can be activated to appear above any entity, mob, player, block, or item. Further info can be found here.

Painting Maker

Within the data folder in each of your saves folder, there is a paintings folder where you can place any image file in, having it become pixelated and appearing apart of the Painting item within the corresponding save. Custom Paintings can also be put in Datapacks, thus making Datapacks now support mods.

Cleaner Dusts

All types of Dust (Redstone, Glowstone, and Gunpowder) have a cleaner and smoother texture.

Dust Power Levels

When looking at any type of Dust (Redstone, Glowstone, and Gunpowder), in the F3 menu under the "Looking at" section, there is a new line displaying "Dust Power Level" with the power level of the corresponding Dust you are looking at displayed right after it. Additionally, you can configure it so the Dust Power Levels display on the items when looked at, or on the items all the time.

Iron Golem Flower Color Tweak

The color of the flowers on Iron Golems is now red to match with the Poppies that they drop.

Clocks Display Time

Within the configuration of the mod, you can customize what time zone time a Clock will display when a Player's crosshairs go on it. By default, it is set to the Central European Time Zone, as that is where Sweden, the home of Minecraft, is. The time on the Clocks will also appear on them when in any Inventory. It can also be configured to show the time as an analog. Additionally, you can configure it so the times will only display in the F3 menu, or on Clocks without being looked at.

Mob Health Bars

Mobs now have Health Bars above them to display the current amount of health that they have. If a Boss Bar is being used, then a Health Bar won't. It uses almost the exact same string of code used for the Neat mod. (This feature disables itself if the Neat mod is loaded to prevent content overlap.)

Armor Stand Tweaks

When placing or summoning an Armor Stand, they will be perfectly straight facing the Player. Armor Stands summoned in with the /summon command will now have arms on them. The Armor Stand item in Inventories will also have arms on it. You can also position each part of the Armor Stand differently by shift-right-clicking, there are 13 different positions, just like on the Bedrock Edition. Additionally, when crafting Armor Stands, 2 Sticks on the left and right side are now required.

Mob Head Mounts

Mounts are a new item used to display Mob Heads on them. When placed, the Mob Heads will appear slightly bigger. They are crafted from an Item Frame in the center surrounded by any of the same Wooden Planks or Colored Wooden Planks in the center to receive the corresponding Mount. Additionally, you can put a Redstone Torch on the back of the Mount, or on the back of the block behind it, to power the Ender Dragon Head.

Map Marker Removal

As an addition to Quark's Map Marker feature, Maps can be crafted with a Water Bucket to remove any and all markers on them.

Clams

Clams are a new underwater mob which spawns from the bottoms and tops of Oceans in Clam Chunks. You can right-click them to either receive Gold or Iron and you also have a rare chance to receive Diamonds.

Rideable Dolphins

Dolphins can be ridden by holding Fishing Rods in front of them. If you have Water Breathing on you, you can even ride them underwater. When riding a Dolphin, you can press the jump key to have the Dolphin jump up.

Leviathan

You can make a T pillar of Prismarine with 3 Elder Guardian Heads on the top to summon in a Leviathan mini-boss. Upon death, it will drop 1-5 Prismarine Shards and 1 Prismarine Gem.

Proper Button Math

When crafting Buttons, you will receive 16 Buttons, rather than just 1.

Proper Pressure Plate Math

When crafting Pressure Plates, they now output 4. You can also craft 4 of the same Pressure Plate back into 2 of the same block it was made of.

Lightning Rods

Iron Bars now have a chance to attract lightning to its spot during a thunderstorm. This will output a Redstone pulse, with the amount of the pulse being able to be configured. Additionally, you can configure it so that you are required to use a Lightning Rod item rather than Iron Bars. Lightning Rods are crafted from an End Rod with 2 Gold Ingots vertically, or with 3 Gold Ingots vertically if easy mode is enabled. The Lightning Rods will have the same functionality and configuration as the Iron Rods do.

Colored Water

Water in a Cauldron can be dyed different colors by right-clicking it with any Dyes. You can use this to dye any items that can be dyed by throwing them in. You can also pick up each of the Colored Waters with any Bucket to allowing you to place it down.

Potions in Cauldrons

Splash Potions can be put in a Cauldron by right-clicking it with any Splash Potion bottle. You can take these Potions out with a Glass Bottle to receive the corresponding Splash Potion in the bottle. You can also right-click them with Arrows to receive the corresponding Potion Arrows. If you jump into a Cauldron full of Potions, you receive that Potion status effect.

Parrots Mimic All Mob Sounds and Music

Parrots will now mimic the sounds of all mobs, having the same functionality as before. They can also mimic the sound of music played by Note Blocks and Jukeboxes.

Chat Parrots

Parrots riding on your shoulder will read messages in Chat. The voice of the Parrot is a higher pitch of the Narrator's voice, due to them replacing the Narrator, even requiring the Narrator to be turned on. They won't read any type of commands in Chat, even if the Narrator is set to that.

Damaging Cactuses in Flower Pots

Cactuses in Flower Pots will deal damage when touched.

Squirrels and Acorns

Squirrels are a new passive mob which spawns naturally in Jungle biomes. They can jump up 2 blocks and can climb trees. They can be tamed with Acorns, which can be harvested from Oak Leaves with Shears, or Axes if the Axe Leaf Harvesting feature from Quark is enabled.

Visible Armor and Off-Hand Slots

You can now access your armor and off-hand slots from several different Inventories, allowing you to enchant, repair, craft, or equip your armor without having to open and close your Inventory multiple times. This will work conjunctionally with the F to Switch feature from Quark.

No Sticky Keys

Sticky Keys are now automatically disabled. It can be turned on again in the configuration.

Brewing Stand Color Display

On the outside of Brewing Stands, the color of the Potion in it will be displayed.

Spectral Arrows Glow

When Spectral Arrows are being fired off, they will have the glowing effect on them.

Colored Bricks

Bricks, both the item and block, can be crafted with any Dye to receive the corresponding Colored Brick. You can craft any of the same Colored Brick items in a 4x4 Crafting grid to receive the corresponding Colored Brick block. Colored Bricks can be crafted into the corresponding Colored Brick Slabs, Stairs, and Walls.

Clay Buckets

Clay can be crafted in the same formation in crafting a Bucket to receive a Clay Bucket. Clay Buckets can't be used for anything, however, you can smelt them in a Furnace to receive a Hardened Clay Bucket, which functions as any other Bucket, but upon placing down Lava from it, the Hardened Clay Bucket will melt away.

Colored Redstone Lamps

You can now craft any Redstone Lamp with any of the same Dye on each of the 4 sides of the Lamp to receive the corresponding Colored Redstone Lamp. Colored Redstone Lamps function the same as regular Redstone Lamps, just emitting the corresponding colored light.

Colored Wooden Plank Additions

Colored Wooden Planks can be crafted into the corresponding Colored Wooden Doors, Trapdoors, Buttons, Pressure Plates, Bookshelves, Beds, Boats, Chests, and Trapped Chests.

Light Source Block and Item Tweak

When holding any light source block or item in your hand or thrown on the ground, they will emit light. (This feature disables itself if the Optifine mod is loaded to prevent content overlap.)

Mobs A, C, and D

Mobs A, C, and D have now been added to the game. Mob A is known as the "Kraken", it bears a similar resemblance to Squids, and is an ocean creature that sucks players down with its tentacle. The mob spawns in the Deep Ocean biome and has a large mouth that it uses to propel itself through the water. Mob C is known as the "Iguanidae", it has yellow-orangish skin, and is a lizard-like creature that spawns in Desert biomes, sinks into the ground, camouflages itself and consumes mobs and items with its huge mouth. It has a great appetite for enchanting powers and players can also be able to use the mob's abilities to add or remove enchantments for players' own items. Mob D is known as the "Infernal" and is a type of blaze. Its body parts look like red shields and are used to defend itself from attack. This mob spawns with groups of blazes randomly and attacks the player in the Nether with its dangerous shockwave attack.

Custom Trades

Within the data folder in each world folder, there is a new trades folder. In the trades folder, there are folders for the Villager, Pigman, and the Witch. In those folders, there are .json files where the code for each of the separate trades for the mobs is. You can modify, remove, and add in different Custom Trades, even changing the mobs' currency. Custom Trades can also be put in Data Packs, thus making Data Packs now support mods.

Directional Lily Pads

When placing down Lily Pads, they will now face the direction the Player is facing. The same mechanics also apply when placing them from Dispensers. Lily Pads will also be facing different directions upon generating new chunks in worlds. If you are already in a pre-generated world and just installed the mod, you will need to reload the world to have the Lily Pads be directional.

Boats Destroy Lily Pads

Boats can now destroy Lily Pads upon impact in the water.

Fallen and Dead Trees

Fallen Trees have a chance to generate whenever a normal Tree tries to generate. They are vertically on the ground with no Leaves. Dead Trees have a chance to generate whenever a normal Tree tries to generate. They are standing up like any other normal Tree, with any exposed Wood being covered with Vines.

More New Banner Motifs

New Banner motifs can be made using the Nether Star to get a burning Sun-Star, a Blaze Rod to get Fire, the Steve Head to get the "M" in the Minecraft logo, and Vexoplasm to get a Vex face with two dual Swords, alongside the color of choice.

Carpet Layers

Carpets of the same color can now be placed on one another to form multiple layers, and eventually, a Wool block of the corresponding color will form. Because of this feature, Carpets won't be able to be placed on top of one another and just float one block up anymore. Any Wool block can be shaved with any Shovel to receive 16 of the corresponding colored Carpets.

Snow Layers to Snow Blocks

You can now craft 6 Snow Layers in a shapeless crafting grid to receive 3 Snow blocks.

More Items in the Creative Mode Inventory

More items are now available in the Creative Mode Inventory, being the Mob Spawner and Dragon Egg in the Decoration Blocks section, all of the Command Blocks, the Barrier, the Structure Void, and all of the Structure Blocks in the Redstone section, and the Debug Stick in the Miscellaneous section.

Minecart with Mob Spawner and Mob Spawner Tweaks

The Minecart with Mob Spawner is a new item and block entity which is crafted from a Minecart and a Mob Spawner and can be made from putting a Mob Spawner in a placed Minecart on the ground, only if the Minecart Block Placement feature from Quark is enabled. Minecart with Mob Spawners has a chance to generate without any Rails, taking the place of Mob Spawners in Dungeons. The Mob Spawners in the Minecarts can still be used to spawn mobs with Spawn Eggs. Additionally, Mob Spawners have a different texture corresponding to the current mob in it.

Better Repairing and Enchanting Shift-Clicking

Similarly to the Better Crafting Shift-Clicking feature from Quark, shift-clicking an item from in your Inventory to the Anvil interface will move it to the Anvil grid, and not the hotbar. This also works with the Enchantment Table, putting the Lapis Lazuli in the slot for it, and putting all other items in the slot for them.

Sword Blocking

Within the configuration of the mod, you can choose to enable blocking with your Sword, if you prefer it. This will act like it did in 1.8. This will not, however, remove or replace the Shield blocking technique, or the Shield as a whole. By default, it is set to false.

Sea Lanterns Don't Melt Snow or Ice

Sea Lanterns no longer melt any forms of Snow or Ice, considering the fact that they are made from cold objects.

Calamari

Raw Calamari is a new food item which has a 0-2 drop chance upon killing Squids and can restore up to 1 heart while giving the Nausea effect. They can be smelted in a Furnace to receive Cooked Calamari, which can restore up to 3 hearts. (This feature disables itself if the Pam's HarvestCraft mod is loaded to prevent content overlap.)

One Player Sleeping

Now only one Player is required to sleep in a Bed to let the time pass over to become day, however, other Players can still sleep at the same time. If you wish to revert the time back, you can simply use the /time set night command. This feature is mainly for the server-side of things but can be used in single player.

Chameleon Creepers

Creepers now change their color to correspond to the color of the biome that they are in. There is also compatibility with the biomes from the Biomes o' Plenty mod as well as the Greener Grass and Realistic World Type features from the Quark mod for this.

Directional Dispenser Firework Firing

When Fireworks are shot out from a Dispenser, they fly off in the direction in which the Dispenser is facing.

More Extra Potions

A Shulker Shell can be brewed in a Brewing Stand to receive a Potion of Levitation, which can apply the Levitation effect upon being drunken. A Necrotic Bone (replaced with a Nether Star if not enabled) can be brewed in a Brewing Stand to receive a Potion of Decay, which can apply the Wither effect upon being drunken. An Ink Sac can be brewed in a Brewing Stand to receive a Potion of Blindness, which can apply the Blindness effect upon being drunken. A Rabbit's Foot can be brewed with a Mundane Potion in a Brewing Stand to receive a Potion of Luck, which can apply the Luck effect upon being drunken. There are also the corresponding Splash Potions, Lingering Potions, and Tipped Arrows for all of the new Potions as well, made from how they are normally made.

Compass and Clock Tooltips

Hovering over a Compass or a Clock in an Inventory renders that Compass or Clock above the tooltip. This feature is mainly necessary if the Directional Compasses or Clocks Display Time features are enabled.

Redstone Repeater and Redstone Comparator Stone Variety

When crafting Redstone Repeaters and Redstone Comparators, you can use any variant of Stone, rather than just only Stone.

All the Signs

You can now craft any Wooden variant of Signs, using any variants of Wooden Planks and Colored Wooden Planks, as well as the normal Stick.

Colored Paper and Book and Quil Text Color Editor

Paper can now be crafted with any Dye to receive the corresponding Colored Paper. Colored Paper acts like regular Paper and can be used in all of the same recipes. Additionally, when crafting Book and Quills, you can use any Dye in the recipe to change the text color. You can then craft any Book and Quil with any other Dye to change the text color that way.

Colored Feathers and Parrot Shearing and Shedding

Parrots will now drop and shed 1 Colored Feather corresponding to their overall color periodically. Parrots can also now be sheared. Doing so has them take 1 damage and drop 1 Colored Feather. You can do this as many times as you want while the Parrot doesn't die. Parrots that have been sheared will not drop Colored Feathers upon death. If the Colored Feathers aren't enabled, Parrots will just drop and shed regular Feathers.

Placeable Gunpowder Tweaks

Placeable Gunpowder can now be placed on the ground with Dispensers. Gunpowder trails now go off quickly and set off TNT with an explosion, causing it to explode a lot faster than with Flint and Steel and Redstone. Gunpowder also makes a burning sound as it goes off. You can also light Gunpowder trails with Torch Arrows, as well as being able to light them with explosions, given that the block beneath it doesn't break. Gunpowder trails also leave behind fire if the block below it was burnable.

Sweeping Edge and Sweeping Attack Merger

The Sweeping Attack will now only be able to be used if your Sword has the Sweeping Edge enchantment on it, that way you won't unintentionally kill any mobs. The first level would be equivalent to the Sword without Sweeping Edge enchantment in vanilla. The second level would be equivalent to the first level in vanilla. The third level would be equivalent to the second level in vanilla. The fourth level (available through Ancient Tomes) would be equivalent to the third level in vanilla, which is 100% damage.

Infinite Lava in the Nether and New Lava Physics and Features

All lava in the Nether has now become source blocks, thus making lava in the Nether infinite. Lava also gains new physics and features similar to water, having items in them rise up, passing through non-solid blocks, as well as being able to be put in Cauldrons ad out in a Bucket again. If you go into a Cauldron filled with lava, you will burn.

New Milk Physics and Features

Milk gains new physics and features similar to water, having items in them rise up, passing through non-solid blocks, as well as being able to be put in Cauldrons and out in a Bucket again. If you go into a Cauldron filled with milk, it will remove you of all status effects.

Frostwalker Enchantment Tweaks

When wearing any Boots with the Frostwalker enchantment on them, you will no longer slide and walk slow on any form of ice.

Burning Thatch

Thatch can now catch on fire if any fire or lava is nearby.

Improved Pet Teleportation

You can now use commands to teleport your own pets to you, and back again. The commands work as followed, /teleport <TamedPetSpecies> <TamedPetName> to @p or <Username> and /teleport <TamedPetSpecies> <TamedPetName> back from @p or <Username>. The "to" is not required if you use "@p", it's only required when using usernames. You can also either use "@p" or your username, the "or" is also not apart of the commands.

Zombie Trap Horses

Zombie Trap Horses are a new hostile mob which is just a regular Zombie Horse being ridden by either a Zombie or any Zombie Villager. The Zombies and Zombie Villagers can come with a variety of tools, weapons, and armor, including all of the different armor and tool types, Bows with Arrows of Poison, Blindness, Nausea, Weakness, and on rare occurrences, Wither. The Zombies, Zombie Villagers, and Zombie Horse drops are as expected. Zombie Trap Horses spawn the same way as Skeleton Trap Horses, just more common.

More New Textures

The new textures from Trail's Vanilla Plus are now available to choose from. You can configure which ones will be active and non-active. Additionally, Sandy Bricks gain a new texture change similar to the new Brick texture change available in the Quark mod. Sticky Pistons' sides now have slime on them, similarly to what was available in the 1.11 version of the Quark mod. Enchanted Books and any enchanted tools, armor, and weapons now gain additional glints and textures specific to the enchantment.

Spawn Egg Name Tweak

The display name of each Spawn Egg is now laid out as followed: <Mobname> Spawn Egg rather than the usual Spawn <Mobname>.

Sharks

Sharks are a new neutral mob which spawns naturally in Ocean biomes. They won't attack unless being attacked first. Upon death, they have a chance to drop 1-4 Raw Fish. If the Random Animal Textures feature from Quark is enabled, Sharks will have randomized textures of gray, brown, tan, and white.

Penguins

Penguins are a new passive mob which spawns naturally in the Overworld cold biomes. Upon death, they will drop 1-2 Raw Fish. They can also be tamed and bred with Cooked Fish and put on Leads. When swimming underwater, Penguins have there own unique swimming animation, even if the Swimming Animations feature isn't enabled. Penguins can also slide on Ice and Packed Ice.

Banners in Item Frames

Banners in Item Frames now take up the whole space, like Maps.

All Rails Turn

All variants of Rails can now connect together upon being placed in a turning position.

Double Book Reading

When reading any type of Book, both sides will be displayed rather than only one.

Volcanoes

Volcanoes are a new structure which naturally generates on the top of the ground in Lava Oceans in the Nether. Some Volcanoes have a chance to generate higher or even lower. Each Volcano will erupt using timers, spewing out lava throughout the base. Inside of each Volcano, there is a chance for hidden Chests to generate with randomized Nether Fortress loot, as well as dungeons consisting of Nether mobs, such as Blazes, Zombie Pigmen, and Wither Skeletons. Additionally, in the configuration of the mod, you can choose to have Volcanoes also generate in the Overworld. This will require a world reload.

Compasses Point to Player Spawn Points

Compasses will now point to the Player's corresponding spawn point upon being put in a player's inventory or being held in their hand.

Decaying Leaf Particles

When Leaves are getting ready to decay, green particles will fall representing actually leaves.

New Spider Climbing Animation

Spiders and Cave Spiders will now have their own unique climbing animation when climbing on walls, with them actually being on the walls.

Flashing Despawning Items

When items are getting close to despawning, they start to flash in and out of existence, somewhat as to a warning.

Parrot Eggs and Baby Parrots

Parrots will now drop Parrot Eggs, having the same drop rate as Eggs, which can be configured to be renamed to Chicken Eggs. Parrot Eggs function the same as Chicken Eggs, which upon being thrown, will spawn in a Baby Parrot. Baby Parrots can be grown up with Seeds.

Specific Cat Breeding Textures

Upon breeding Ocelots into Cats, the texture now is dependent on the certain Fish used. To obtain a tabby cat, you will need to use a Raw Fish, to obtain a tuxedo cat, you will need to use a Clownfish, and to obtain a Siamese cat, you will need to use a Clownfish.

Entity Tracking

When in the F3 menu, you can press the + key to enable entity tracking. This will act like it did in the Alpha versions, displaying each entity's ID number above them. To disable this, you can press the - key. This will automatically disable if you exit the F3 menu, and will be automatically disabled if you reenter the F3 menu.

AFK Mode

Players can now set a preferred keybind, CTRL+A by default, to set yourself in AFK (Away From Keyboard) Mode. When in AFK Mode, you will not be able to be moved by any entities or mobs (can be configured and can be specified), you won't be damaged (can be configured and can be specified), Minecraft won't play any sounds (e.g. game music, note block/music disk music, all mob sounds, etc.), and you will be marked as AFK in chat and above your gamertag. This will not inter conflict with the Improved Sleeping feature from Quark.

Fullscreen Windowed Borderless

When in fullscreen, you can press ESC to use other monitors without minimizing the game. You can also use ALT+TAB to get out of the game more smoothly. You can also now have other windows on top of the Minecraft client when it's not active. (This feature disables itself if the Fullscreen Windowed (Borderless) for Minecraft mod is installed to prevent content overlap.)

Default Game Options

All of the default game options which can be changed using the /gamerule command can now be changed in the Mod Options menu of the mod. Additionally, the /gamerule mobGriefing command now has subcommands for each mob's griefing features.

All Quark Features

If for some reason you can't find the Quark mod, or it doesn't load, then all of the features from it are available in the mod. All of the configuration for the features remains the same with no tampering. Having this feature enabled will also ensure that you won't need Quark loaded, but you will still need AutoRegLib. (This feature disables itself if the Quark mod is loaded to prevent content overlap.)
